Field Service Technician / Installer:

Summary Description
The Field Service Technician / Installer will be responsible for the complete installation of equipment sold by the Company. This position will provide maintenance, services and support for covered equipment, and perform other duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Position is responsible for providing installation schedules, maintenance and repairs at customers’ sites of equipment and IT hardware, including but not limited to: run and terminate communication cables (CAT5, RG59U and others) as well as pre-made cables; install on ceiling and walls external and internal CCTV cameras, audio systems, speakers and other equipment respecting all local and municipal codes; mount, setup and program provided DVR’s, camera power supplies, Point of Sale (POS) terminals, PC Servers, printers, network switches, headset systems, timers, display TV’s and other monitors, following diagrams generated during store site surveys. Document store network by labeling and routing equipment and cables.

Responsible for the prompt completion and accuracy of all administrative functions, including capturing detailed customer assets, serial number information and other data required to complete any invoicing or billing activities.

Respond to customer calls, which will include problem identification, escalation and resolution of system problems. Responsible to keep customer informed during the problem resolution process, aiming to provide high levels of customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications

Must be a local candidate, be authorized to work in the U.S. and have a valid driver’s license.

Must pass a comprehensive background check including credit check, criminal, driving record, and drug screen.

Must have the ability to carry and lift a tool kit/parts of varying weights (1- 50 lbs).

Position may require bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting for prolonged periods and some local travel. Must be able to use ladders and work at heights of 20’- 25’ operating customer’s supplied lifts when necessary.

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows OS, Excel and Word Perfect will be essential toward understanding many solutions to store-level issues.

Preferred Qualifications
· High School Diploma
· A+ certification
· At least 2 years of hands-on CCTV/Camera installation and repair experience in a customer environment
· Bilingual
